The flagship of Samsung as far as Android concerns can finally cross off your to-do list to update Froyo. Although it was announced for the past day 11, the update has been made a bit of begging. The first to receive the new data packet has been Vodafone customers, and provides that all owners of this smartphone be accessed Android 2.2 in the coming days.
The upgrade comes just one day after the HTC Legend. The HTC model had considerable delay in reaching Froyo and few users were unhappy with the upgrade policy of Mountain View.
The most bizarre thing is that, unlike the Legend, the Samsung Galaxy S does not receive the update automatically on the mobile. The only way to upgrade to 2.2 is Android by Kies, manager of desktop applications developed by Samsung for Samsung Apps. In other words, you need to connect the terminal to a PC with internet connection and run the update from Kies. Those who have not installed this software you can download for free at the Samsung Web Apps. (more…)

Entering specifications, we find the screen resolution often use the new Nokia, 360 × 640 pixels, but we do not manage the size of it, maybe 4 inches. The 8-megapixel camera and has dual LED flash.
We hope to get more information in succeeding days, and get us out of the mind the possibility that it is a Chinese copy of Nokia terminal, but has all the earmarks of that.

If anything underlines Nokia is to make solid midrange terminals and powerful. The most recent representative of this family is the Nokia X3-02, which is also the first company to inaugurate the family Touch & Type, a concept that combines touch screen with conventional alphanumeric keypad.
The Nokia X3-02 is a stale series terminal S40, but that does not mean that it is perfectly capable of handling a handful of functions that incorporates and, more importantly, do it right. Small, with a really thin and light profile, the X3-02 is one of those phones that will delight consumers who just want a phone to call, send messages and, at best, take pictures. On the other hand, good connectivity and the addition of a touch screen extremely easy to use makes it ideal to serve as cicerone to users who have not tried honey on the mobile Internet or are reluctant to switch to a touch format.
The X3-02 Nokia Touch & Type has many ballots to win (more…)

Nokia is preparing a second terminal with a QWERTY keyboard and the S40 operating system, combining first premiered on the Nokia C3-00, introduced last June. The new phone responds to the name Nokia X2-01.
By the operating system we can guess that this is a mid-range phone / low, below the C3-00 Nokia said that we had occasion to analyze, with whom she shares details such as the lack of 3G connectivity (supports EDGE) or screen 2.44 inch (QVGA), but always loses WiFi connectivity useful.
Another thing different for the new phone is using a 3-megapixel camera instead of the 2 of Nokia C3-00. We also know it has microSD card slot, FM radio and Bluetooth. We see the images the Nokia X2-01 has two dedicated keys for music (it is a series X) and messaging.
Although we have focused on the news compared to the C3-00 Nokia interesting for their similarities in design and capabilities, we have a phone that will naturally have lower price and its market, although the lack of WiFi makes it lose many integers. By the way, is not the first terminal in the X series musical featuring QWERTY keyboard, in some markets there is the Nokia X5-01. (more…)
