Android 3.0: The Countdown has Begun

This week may be the final to see what we offer Android Gingerbread, numbering possibly in the Android 3.0. The jump from the current version, Android 2.2, is expected to be substantial. That you may be getting an idea, we leave you with what we expect from Android 3.0:

* New GUI. Matias Duarte, who left Palm to Google, should have contributed to this change in aesthetics than expected for Android 3.0, so it is likely that brands tend to customize the interface rendered to fall Android the new Google operating system for mobile.

* More power please. Although in principle the power requirements of the new Android will not be very different from today, the possibility that this new version can be combined with NVIDIA Tegra 2 platforms like us to dream with a qualitative leap in their power. For sure, Android and Nvidia are a safe start to the new terminal later this year.

* More integrated services. Google Music as a music subscription service exclusively for Android phones, native integration of Google Docs or a more serious video conferencing system are some of the services that are rumored to be able to see with the new Android.

Sony Ericsson LiveView

Go interesting accessory us this morning without eating or drinking the Sony Ericsson guys, this is a small OLED screen, we would say that slightly larger than a watch, which allows us to monitor various functions of our Android phone.

After seeing the video, you can get an idea of the possibilities of great accessories, the display is interactive in that it incorporates four sensors on each side of Sony Ericsson LiveView enable us to do things.

Communication between devices is done via Bluetooth (up to 10 meters), so perfectly in the bag we can take our phone because the main reports (including Facebook) will be on our wrist.

The OLED display chosen is 1.3 inches and has a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. It also has a couple of physical buttons that allow the switching on and selecting menu options.
