Monday, November 29th, 2010

Nokia has announced that it will be producing “green” versions of their smartphones N8 and C7, in association with O2 in the UK and Telefonica in Spain.

Both green smartphones will be designed to look the same but Nokia will use bio-plastics instead of normal plastic.

And plastic, green versions of the Nokia N8 and C7 will AMOLED displays, which use less energy than existing screens on both smartphones.

And changes in ecological phones, Nokia phones will be packaged in more environmentally friendly packaging is recyclable.

While this is a good effort from Nokia to have less impact on the environment, I wonder why they have to have special “green” versions of these two smartphones.

Had you heard about the Nokia X7-00?, Because the truth is I do not, but is circulating on YouTube a video of what could be a new terminal Symbian 3, at least we see that using the latest version of the operating system .

In addition to the operating system see it as having fun playing a game of Need For Speed Shift of Electronic Arts. As regards the external aspect of the device, is said to be of metal, and as most curious paragraph, the presence of four speakers, one in each corner.

Entering specifications, we find the screen resolution often use the new Nokia, 360 × 640 pixels, but we do not manage the size of it, maybe 4 inches. The 8-megapixel camera and has dual LED flash.

We hope to get more information in succeeding days, and get us out of the mind the possibility that it is a Chinese copy of Nokia terminal, but has all the earmarks of that.

Dual Core is the next “big thing” in the world of Smartphones, face first to the phone was LG and Star, but we know that Samsung and Motorola also ride in it, while the American firm already leaked yours.

Motorola now known as Olympus, and for some time as Terminator, the images you see under the Motorola Android phone call to be the flagship of the American firm.

Details like that will appear with AT & T are not very interesting for our interests, but will do so in the last week of January, so if you decide to jump the pond, we must think of a date from there.

X3-02 Nokia Touch & Type

Friday, November 19th, 2010

If anything underlines Nokia is to make solid midrange terminals and powerful. The most recent representative of this family is the Nokia X3-02, which is also the first company to inaugurate the family Touch & Type, a concept that combines touch screen with conventional alphanumeric keypad.

The Nokia X3-02 is a stale series terminal S40, but that does not mean that it is perfectly capable of handling a handful of functions that incorporates and, more importantly, do it right. Small, with a really thin and light profile, the X3-02 is one of those phones that will delight consumers who just want a phone to call, send messages and, at best, take pictures. On the other hand, good connectivity and the addition of a touch screen extremely easy to use makes it ideal to serve as cicerone to users who have not tried honey on the mobile Internet or are reluctant to switch to a touch format.

The X3-02 Nokia Touch & Type has many ballots to win (more…)

In Japan, as terminals X10 Sony Ericsson Xperia and Samsung’s iPhone beating Galaxy S 4 in sales (more…)

Friday, November 12th, 2010

The artist formerly known as Sony Ericsson phone Anzu, near high-end terminal Android mixed company, looks like it could hit the market in 2011 under the name of Sony Ericsson Xperia final X12.

Phone, which highlight its reduced thickness, little is known beyond its large 4.3-inch screen and HDMI output. Although the teach, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 runs on Android 2.1, then it would suggest a dramatic departure Android Gingerbread released if finally released during the first quarter of 2011, although there are those who already said it would be this year when your range high may be available with the PSP Phone.

But the fact is that Sony Ericsson X12 will not come alone, and are expected to be up to six new models of the company in 2011.

Nokia X2-01: A New Terminal Affordable QWERTY

Friday, November 5th, 2010

Nokia is preparing a second terminal with a QWERTY keyboard and the S40 operating system, combining first premiered on the Nokia C3-00, introduced last June. The new phone responds to the name Nokia X2-01.

By the operating system we can guess that this is a mid-range phone / low, below the C3-00 Nokia said that we had occasion to analyze, with whom she shares details such as the lack of 3G connectivity (supports EDGE) or screen 2.44 inch (QVGA), but always loses WiFi connectivity useful.

Another thing different for the new phone is using a 3-megapixel camera instead of the 2 of Nokia C3-00. We also know it has microSD card slot, FM radio and Bluetooth. We see the images the Nokia X2-01 has two dedicated keys for music (it is a series X) and messaging.

Although we have focused on the news compared to the C3-00 Nokia interesting for their similarities in design and capabilities, we have a phone that will naturally have lower price and its market, although the lack of WiFi makes it lose many integers. By the way, is not the first terminal in the X series musical featuring QWERTY keyboard, in some markets there is the Nokia X5-01. (more…)

LG Optimus One: A Quick Option To Enter The World Android

Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010

Although terminals that are to come as the Nexus Two it makes you feel like waiting, not everyone seeks to be always up to date. So if you want to start in the Android world and do well, the LG Optimus One is one of the choices.

In our test of Optimus One LG have taken an important conclusion: it is not the terminal with thinner Android 2.2, the most spectacular features, or design or even better known for its screen quality, but Android runs reliably and smoothly, and the tactile response is very successful to be a terminal outside the royalty of the smartphones.

Galaxy Tab Samsung Has A Version Without 3G

Friday, October 29th, 2010

Every time I think unless the statements of managers of companies, we do not have Nexus Two tomorrow, yes, there will be no connectivity Samsung 3G Tab Galaxy, and now it appears that only one version gets by with WiFi. Anyway, it sure is welcome.

Operators at the margin, this version will be released at a lower price by having less circuitry, and the truth is we do not know what markets, and that has just appeared in documents of the American FCC agency, in addition to having passed the certification Bluetooth GIS, under the product code GT-P1010 (the original model is known as the P1000).

I guess sacrificing 3G will not be a problem for many buyers, we lose mobility and phone functionality, but we’ll see what change is this in the price of the product (speaking of U.S. $ 500). This will equate to iPad, which since its inception had both versions.

Before the news was rumored deal about the possibility of a WiFi version dared SuperAMOLED screens, we can not forget because the screen remains the same, like the other elements of Samsung Galaxy Tab.
